62-Year-Old Man With Dementia Missing In Santa Monica

He was last seen leaving a dialysis appointment in the 2000 block of Santa Monica, police said.

SANTA MONICA, CA — The Santa Monica Police Department is asking for the public’s help Wednesday in finding 62-year-old Jerry Peels, considered a critical missing person, who was last seen on November 1.

Peels is a resident of the Beachwood Homes located in the 1300 block of 15th Street in Santa Monica. He was last seen leaving a dialysis appointment in the 2000 block of Santa Monica, the Santa Monica Police Department said.

He suffers from dementia and requires routine dialysis treatments. He has brown eyes and black hair, is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with the word "Cali" on the front.
