Black Lives Matter Rally Planned At Santa Monica Police Station
A Black Lives Matter protest is planned for Tuesday night outside Santa Monica Police Department's headquarters.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A group of locals Tuesday are planning a rally to support the Black Lives Matter movement and seek justice following Santa Monica police's response during looting and protests on May 31.
The rally is slated for 5 p.m. Tuesday at the department's headquarters, 333 Olympic Drive.
Santa Monicans 4 Democracy planned the event and have held protests throughout the summer. They are calling for changes to the Santa Monica Police Department in the wake of reported incidents during the events on May 31 throughout the city, including a ban on gas and rubber bullets.
