Crash Shuts Down PCH In Santa Monica
Drivers were being advised to avoid the area and expect delays.
SANTA MONICA, CA — A crash shut down Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica during the Monday evening rush hour. Drivers are advised to avoid the area near the California Incline through the McClure Tunnel.
According to the Santa Monica Police Department, all southbound lanes were shutdown by the crash as of 5:10 p.m. Authorities did not have an estimate as to when the lanes would be reopened.
"Expect delays and use alternate routes," the police department tweeted.

According to police, the crash was not related to the nearby bomb threat at the Santa Monica Pier Monday afternoon.
