Join Bar Pintxo at 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve to celebrate the Spanish New Year!

Bar Pintxo will celebrate by giving each guest 12 Grapes with each order. From Spain to Brazil, gobbling 12 grapes at midnight is a favorite way to celebrate the New Year. When it is midnight in Spain, each time the clock chimes, all of the people put a grape in their mouth. By the time the clock has finished chiming, everybody has to have finished their grapes and then the New Year starts.

It is very funny to watch everyone eating the grapes because everybody starts the New Year with a full mouthful as it is almost impossible to finish eating the grapes by the time the clock finishes chiming. Normally people still have all the grapes in their mouths, and they start looking at each other and they have to laugh. It is said that if you manage to eat all 12 grapes in time, you will have 12 months of good luck ahead of you.
