The Santa Monica Playhouse ushers in its second half century with the ever-popular Family Theatre Musical Alice and the Wonderful Tea Party. Join Alice as she accepts a party invitation to return to the Wonderland of her youth. Will Alice prevail or are the Cards stacked against her?

Lovely audience participation helps Alice set things aright in this zany musical comedy for kids ages 2 to 102. Birthday and Tea Parties (of course), hosted by a favorite fairy tale character, are available in conjunction with every performance. A set adorned with hundreds of red roses and giant playing cards adds to the merriment of this internationally acclaimed musical comedy.

SHOWTIMES:

• 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Saturdays & Sundays through Dec. 18

ADMISSION:

• $12.50 for adults
• $10.50 for children 12 and under
