SANTA MONICA, CA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

What does the nominee do for work?:
She has spearheaded the local Maskapolooza movement to supply hospitals, other health-related businesses, front line workers such as postal workers, all with masks.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
She was featured in a local news article and is going this even though she recently lost her job. She’s helped thousands in the community and put their interests over her own.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She puts other people first in actions.
