Sea Of Dodger Blue Will Take Over Third Street Promenade During Pep Rally

The "We Believe in Blue" pep rally is planned for Thursday at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A sea of Dodger blue will overtake the Third Street Promenade on Thursday for a pep rally ahead of the World Series.

The “We Believe in Blue” event will be held on the 1300 block of the promenade, near Arizona Avenue, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

  • Former Dodgers players Adrian Gonzalez, Eric Karros and Steve Garvey will be signing autographs and taking photos with fans.
  • The main stage will he hosted by emcees Jacyln Ruiz and Melisser Myer — hosts of the “Talk Dodgers To Me” podcast — who will lead the crowd in Dodgers cheers.
  • 360° fan photo booth
  • Fans will be able to sign an 8-foot-tall baseball
  • Performances from the Pali High School Cheer Squad
  • Official Dodger Cheer Towels will be given away to the first 500 guests
  • The Dodgers Bobble character will be posing for photos with fans

Fans will also be able to enjoy the festivities with a beer, thanks to the promenade's entertainment zone, which was approved earlier this year.

A coordinated display will light up the promenade and the Santa Monica Pier's ferris wheel in blue.
