Shooting Suspect At Large In Santa Monica, Victim Hospitalized

Police are searching for one or more suspects in Santa Monica following a shooting Thursday morning.

SANTA MONICA, CA — A shooting victim was hospitalized in unknown condition in Santa Monica and the suspect is at large, authorities said.

According to the Santa Monica Police Department, officers received a report of a shooting at about 10:25 a.m. in the 2600 block of 29th Street. SMPD was able to locate the victim when they arrived and had him taken to a local hospital.

It is unknown whether there was one or more suspects involved in the shooting, police said. As of 12:30 p.m., the suspect or suspects were outstanding.
