Motorcyclist Ejected, Killed In Crash In San Diego's East County
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and collided with a wooden post fence, the CHP said.
LAKESIDE, CA — A man was killed riding a motorcycle over the weekend in San Diego's East County, authorities reported Monday.
The fatal crash happened around 5:50 p.m. Saturday, when the rider of an eastbound 2020 Harley Davidson Road Glide veered off El Monte Road and crashed into a metal electrical pole near Omas Dirt Road in Lakeside, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The rider was ejected from the motorcycle and collided with a wooden post fence, the CHP said. The 55-year-old Lakeside resident was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.
