Classic Car Show Returns to Saratoga

Don't miss the fourth annual Saratoga Classic Car Show presented by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce and the Cool Car Club of Saratoga and Los Gatos 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, July 21 in Saratoga Village.

This year, the organizations are partnering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Most of the action takes place on Big Basin Way and Fifth Street in the popular downtown strip.

More than 200 classic and exotic cars and trucks will be on display.

Tiger Teerlink of Alain Pinel Realtors in Saratoga is coordinating the event. Deni Green of Azule Salon is coordinating the raffle and silent auction portions of the event.

A "cool car cruise" 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, July 20 begins the festivities. For $75 per person, participants enjoy a short 25-mile cruise to three local wineries for food, fun and wine tasting. This event is limited to only 30 cars and 60 people, so early registration was strongly encouraged.

Among the stops during the cruise, which begins in downtown Saratoga at Village Square, is Black Ridge Vineyards in Los Gatos and Savannah-Chanelle and Cooper-Garrod Estate vineyards in Saratoga.

The VIP reception and silent auction, with proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, take place 5-8 p.m. Saturday, July 20 in the quad area at 14510 Big Basin Way.

Food from Hong's Gourmet, Florentine Trattoria, Bella Saratoga, Masu, Wildwood Market, Big Ed's Buzzard BBQ and Bai Tong will be available at the Saturday evening event.

Performing Saturday night will be Med's Mood Swings and items for auction include hotel stays, wines, restaurant certificates, massages, a hot-air balloon ride, wine tasting tour by horse-drawn carriage, local merchant baskets and more.
