New Arrest Made In Murder of 88-Year-Old South Bay Woman Known As 'Miss Flo'
A new suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of an 88-year-old woman during a robbery at the victim's San Jose home.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- A 20-year-old woman was arrested Friday on suspicion of being an accessory in a 2016 slaying of an 88-year-old woman living in unincorporated Santa Clara County, sheriff's officials said Monday.
Perla Arreola, seen above, was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory in the killing of Floavis Douglas, also known as Miss Flo to her friends, family and others. Douglas died Oct. 8 following an alleged robbery and attack on Sept. 12 by Zachary Cuen, who was arrested three days later.
Sheriff's officials said Arreola allegedly lied to investigators multiple times in an effort to thwart the discovery of evidence in the case. Arreola was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to obstruct justice. She allegedly got rid of some of the items Cuen allegedly stole from Douglas, sheriff's officials said.

Following the robbery and beating, Cuen allegedly went back to the home and stole Douglas' vehicle, which he drove to Jimenez's home where she was living with her parents.
Cuen allegedly had bloodstains on his clothes and was wearing some of Douglas' jewelry. Cuen has been charged with murder and other offenses. Arreola is set to appear in court for the first time on Tuesday afternoon, according to county jail booking logs.
