• 21K Without Power Due To Fire At Peninsula PG&E Substation (patch.com) — Saratoga residents woke up to a major power outage Wednesday after a fire at a local PG&E substation cut electricity to about 21,000 South Bay customers. The blaze, which began around 8:25 a.m., was contained by mid-morning as PG&E crews assisted first responders, though the utility has not yet released further details.
