Saratoga Seeks Volunteers to Help Beautify Quarry Park
The Saratoga Parks & Recreation Commission is seeking volunteers to remove invasive plants at Quarry Park from 9 a.m. to noon Sat., April 8.

SARATOGA, CA -- The City of Saratoga's Parks & Recreation Commission is seeking volunteers to help remove invasive plants from trails at Quarry Park.
The beautification project, which is part of the city's Let's Work! program, is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 8 at 22000 Congress Springs Road.
Participants are asked to bring gardening gloves, sunscreen, water, long sleeves, and closed-toed shoes. Tools will be provided.

Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at the bottom of the park. If coming from the Saratoga Village, take Big Basin Way through the Village and proceed west past Hakone Gardens. Quarry Park is on the left, ¼ mile west of Toll Gate.
