SARATOGA EATS FOOD TRUCK MEETUP

Kim Connor and Intero Saratoga are hosting a food truck meet-up in front the Intero Real Estate Saratoga office, 12900 Saratoga Ave., at 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 featuring  food, fun and fundraising! Food truck lineup includes: Melts my Heart, Porky's SJ, House of Siam on Wheels, Tastee Bytes, We Sushi, Scoops, MoGo, and Waffle Amore. BJ's brewery will be providing tasty beer and wine with 10 percent of food and beverage sales being donated to the Intero Foundation, dedicated to children in need in our community. SARATOGA MOVIE NIGHT FRIDAY

The Saratoga Movie Night Series ends at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16 at El Quito Park, 12855 Paseo Presada. The event is sponsored by the Saratoga Parks and Recreation Commission, which presented a movie night on June 21 and July 19 at the same time and same location. The film shown will be The Parent Trap. Free popcorn and coffee will be served. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

SARATOGA FARMERS' MARKET AT WEST VALLEY COLLEGE

Saratoga Farmers' Market takes place 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at West Valley College, 14000 Fruitvale Ave. Seasonal fruits and vegetables for sale in the campus' parking lot. More than 50 farmers and food producers participate. Details: 1-800-806-3276, or cafarmersmkts@gmail.com.

SARATOGA BOLLYWOOD DANCE

The Saratoga Village Development Council presents the fifth annual Saratoga Bollywood dance at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18 at 14440 Big Basin Way. Organizers are inviting the public to attend and join Saratogans as they dance to Bollywood music, watch Saratoga High School students perform and enjoy some refreshments. Admission is free and Saratoga Mayor Jill Hunter, chairwoman of the SVDC, said the event is "lots of fun and a great way for the whole city to get moving and dancing" in the parking lot of the Wells Fargo Bank.

LAND, SEA AND HEAVENLY BODIES AT AEGIS GALLERY

The Aegis Gallery of Fine Arts in Saratoga Village, 14531 Big Basin Way, presents an exhibit of photographs and drawings by Randall Harrison titled, "Land, Sea and Heavenly Bodies" 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Details: 408-867-0171, or starr.davis@comcast.net.

GALLERY SARATOGA EXHIBITS

Gallery Saratoga, 14435-A Big Basin Way, invites the public to visit its facilities 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday where there is always an artist eager to explain the importance of the fine arts.  Gallery Saratoga is a cooperative gallery representing local artists in Saratoga. Art mediums: paintings (acrylic, oil, watercolor), photography, silks, jewelry, ceramics, gourds, and woodturning. Notecards and prints are also available. Details: 408-867-0458

SARATOGA HISTORY MUSEUM EXHIBITS

The Saratoga History Museum, 20450 Saratoga-Los Gatos Rd., presents exhibits focusing on local history 1-4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Admission and parking are free. The museum is also open by appointment. Details: 408-867-4311.
