SARATOGA MOVIE NIGHT FRIDAY
The Saratoga Movie Night Series continues at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 19 at El Quito Park, 12855 Paseo Presada. The event is sponsored by the Saratoga Parks and Recreation Commission, which presented a movie night on June 21 and on Aug. 16 at the same time and same location. The film shown will be The Parent Trap. Free popcorn and coffee will be served. The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
SARATOGA FARMERS' MARKET AT WEST VALLEY COLLEGE

LAND, SEA AND HEAVENLY BODIES AT AEGIS GALLERY

WEST VALLEY LIGHT OPERA'S 9 To 5
West Valley Light Opera presents the musical comedy “9 To 5,” based on the Twentieth Century Fox film of the same name which starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton. It became the second highest-grossing film of the 1980s. Later, it was made into a Broadway musical, opening on Broadway in 2009, receiving four Tony-Award nominations. The story is set in 1979 when Rolodex, IBM Selectric Typewriters and Xerox machines were the state-of-the-art technology in the office. Shows take place at 8 p.m. Friday, July 19; 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 20-21. WEST VALLEY COMMUNITY SERVICES' DASH OF HOPE RUN/WALK
West Valley Community Services' annual Dash of Hope USATF-certified 5K and 10K run/walk takes place at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, July 21 at Vasona Park, 333 Blossom Hill Rd., in Los Gatos. For the 5K run/walk: ages 12 and under are $35. Ages 13 and over are $40. For the 10K run/walk: ages 12 and under are $40. Ages 13 and over are $45. Kids ages 12 and under are free. Bib and T-shirt pickup on race day, starting at 7:30 a.m. Registration includes T-shirt, bib, chip timing, goodie bag, and post-race refreshments. SARATOGA CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Don't miss the fourth annual Saratoga Classic Car Show presented by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce and the Cool Car Club of Saratoga and Los Gatos! This year, the organizations are partnering with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Once again, chrome and metal meet on Big Basin Way in Saratoga Village 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, July 21, Big Basin Way and Fifth
Street. Don't miss the best in classic and exotic cars and trucks. More than 200 Tiger Teerlink of Alain Pinel Realtors in Saratoga is coordinating the event. Deni Green of Azule Salon is coordinating the raffle and silent auction portions of the event. More than 200 cool cars expected. Vendor booths are also participating.
