The Worst Things About The Kids Going Back To School In Saratoga Are ...

Traffic? Time? Will you miss them? Our readers weigh in.

The start of the school year in the Saratoga Union School District is just around the corner.

Classes begin Monday, Aug. 19 at Argonaut Elementary, Saratoga Elementary, Foothill Elementary and Redwood Middle schools. Saratoga High School also starts the same day.

That means summer is over, unfortunately for some.

This week we asked Saratoga Patch Facebook fans what they considered the worst part about the kids going back to school in the city.

Here are their responses:

Kristine Perham the traffic getting into the parking lot!

Ryan Ramakrishnan That school is one way to kill a kids imagination and creativity by assigning too much homework

Magdalena Chaland No school bus from saratoga village to redwood middle school...

Kristine Perham Our Emma is starting Pre-K at Saint Andrew's. To get there, we pass by West Valley and Redwood. Arrrrrgh! ... AND Rolling Hills!

Terri Masterson Mine are in middle school and high school, worst part, the stress of too much homework, teachers that don't take the time to explain tasks to confused students during class claiming no time (hello, this is your job), but worst experience getting ready for fall: Lynbrook VS coaches for field hockey telling my daughter they don't think she is up to it. Way to rally your students coach!!!
