Thanksgiving Grocery Hours In Sherman Oaks: Albertson's, Vons, & More
Whether you just ran out of a key ingredient or forgot all about whipped cream — check this list of supermarkets and holiday hours.
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA — Some grocery stores and pharmacies in Southern California will open on Thanksgiving, including Safeway, Albertsons.
Many others will close, however, including Walmart and Target, both of which readjusted their holiday hours in 2021 to give employees a day off to spend with their families.
As always, if you need another pound of butter or an onion to finish cooking your Thanksgiving meal, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure they’re open.
Albertsons: Select stores open from 6 a.m. to at least 3 p.m.

Aldi: All stores are closed.
Amazon Fresh: 5 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Bel Air: Stores will close at 3 p.m.
BJ’s Wholesale Club: All stores are closed.
Food4Less: Many locations are open from 6 a.m. to midnight.
Grocery Outlet: Stores are independently owned and operated, so it is recommended to call ahead to your preferred store to confirm hours.
Lucky Supermarket: Most locations will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ralphs: Most locations will be open from 5 or 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Raley's: Stores will close at 3 p.m.
Rite Aid: Most retail stores will be open, though hours vary by location, but pharmacies will be closed.
Vons: Most stores will be open.
Sam’s Club: All stores are closed.
Save A Lot: Stores will be open, but hours may vary by location.
Save Mart: Open until 6 p.m.
ShopRite: Stores are independently owned and operated, so it is recommended to call ahead to your preferred store to confirm hours.
Smart & Final: Most stores will be open 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sprouts Farmers Markets: Most stores will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stater Bros Markets: 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Stop & Shop: Stores open regular hours.
Target: All stores are closed.
Trader Joe’s: All stores are closed.
