• Sierra Madre Police Respond to Suspicious Call at Alverno Heights Academy (coloradoboulevard.net) — Sierra Madre police evacuated Alverno Heights Academy Tuesday afternoon after an anonymous caller falsely claimed devices had been placed on campus; a full search found nothing and the school was deemed safe. In response and amid global tensions, officers have increased patrols around local schools, worship sites, downtown, and gathering spots, asking residents to stay alert and report anything suspicious.
