Prosecution of Man Accused of Gunning Down Former Sierra Madre Resident Begins
Sergio Villalobos' preliminary hearing date is set for Nov. 21.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office has begun prosecution of Sergio Villalobos, a 28-year-old accused of the murder of former Sierra Madre resident Treavor Robinson on Aug. 22, according to the Mountain Views News.
Police said Robinson was gunned down on 800 block of West Colden Avenue in Vermont Vista while standing in front of an apartment building with another person, the L.A. Times reported.
Police said a person in a light-colored sport-utility vehicle drove by and fired several shots, striking and killing Robinson and injuring a 46-year-old man, according to the Times.
Villalobos' preliminary hearing date is set for Nov. 21.
