13-Acre Brush Fire Burns Solano County
A 13-acre brush fire burned over the weekend in Solano County.
Cal Fire crews achieved 100% containment of a wildfire that charred 13 acres in northern Solano County on Saturday.
The Shale Fire was first reported about 7:35 p.m. Friday in an unincorporated area northwest of the city of Vacaville.
The fire originated in the 8000 block of Pleasant Valley Road near Wingate Training Center, an equestrian facility, according to Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit.

There were no reports of damage to structures or injuries. The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
