Bicyclist Fatally Struck By SUV In Sonoma County
The victim died from his injuries after being taken to a hospital, according to the California Highway Patrol.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A bicyclist in Sonoma County died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officers responded to the collision on Old Redwood Highway, near the incorporated limits of the town of Windsor, at about 1:10 p.m.
CHP's initial investigation indicated the bicyclist was stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the highway south of Shiloh Road when a Range Rover drifted onto the shoulder and hit him.

The victim was described as an elderly man. He died from his injuries after being taken to a hospital.
The driver was cooperative with the investigation, which was ongoing as of Sunday. Intoxication was determined not to have been a factor, according to the CHP.
