Crews Battle 2 North Bay Fires And Clear Lake Area

NAPA VALLEY, CA —Saturday marked an active day for fire responses from Cal Fire around the state.

Firefighters from Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit kept a vegetation fire in Solano County from burning out of control Saturday afternoon, keeping the blaze contained to just two acres.

The fire response was reported by Cal Fire just after noon in the 4000 block of Sleepy Hollow Lane, near the Napa County line.

Meanwhile, Cal Fire responded to a fire in Lake County, north of Clear Lake, that had grown to about 16 acres as of Saturday afternoon. At one point, Cal Fire said the fire, which the agency named the Pomo Fire, was threatening structures near 1500 East Highway 20, in the area of the Robinson Rancheria Resort and Casino.
