Elementary School Teacher Accused Of Lewd Acts With Student

SANTA ROSA, CA — A Santa Rosa schoolteacher was arrested on Thursday for alleged lewd acts with a student, police said.
The Santa Rosa Police Department said it received information that a male teacher at Cesar Chavez Language Academy was suspected of lewd acts with a student.
According to the Santa Rosa City Schools district, Cesar Chavez Language Academy is a charter elementary school serving over 800 children.

At approximately 9 p.m. Thursday, 34-year-old Gino Beccaria of Santa Rosa was arrested. He is being held at Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of arranging a meeting with a minor with the intent to commit lewd acts, contact with a minor to commit lewd acts and lewd acts with a minor.
This investigation is ongoing. Santa Rosa police are asking anyone with additional information, including the possible victimization of additional students, to contact their Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Team at 707-543-3595 or at www.srcity.org/CrimeTips.
