Fatal Crash Shuts Down Highway 1 In Sonoma County
A fatal crash shut down Highway 1 in Sonoma County on Sunday.
All lanes of state Highway 1 in Sonoma County were closed west of the Valley Ford Road intersection Sunday afternoon after a collision that involved a possible fatality.
California Highway Patrol officers responded to the collision at about 2 p.m., according to the CHP's dispatch traffic.
The highway was closed at about 2:50, the CHP said on X.

The collision reportedly involved a motorcycle and a blue Toyota minivan, according to CHP dispatch traffic.
The Sonoma County Coroner was called to the scene at about 3 p.m.

There was no estimate for when the highway would reopen. CHP said on X to expect delays.
