Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Opens New Urgent Care Clinic

Walk-ins welcome at clinic on a first-come, first-served basis

Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa recently opened a new urgent care clinic to increase access to care for members and patients with non-emergent medical needs.

The walk-in clinic is accessible on a first-come, first-serve basis until appointments are full. Members and patients should visit the urgent care clinic if they need care or treatment that doesn’t require prompt medical attention such as:

  • Minor wounds and cuts
  • Minor injuries like bites, sprains, strains, or severe back pain
  • Frequent urination or burning sensation when urinating, or sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing
  • Severe sore throat or cough, high fever, or upper respiratory symptoms

“Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa wants to make it easy and convenient for our members and patients to access the care they need,” said Abhishek Dosi, senior vice president and area manager of Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa. “We want to ensure or members and patients with non-emergent needs are able to see a provider, get treatment, and resume their daily activities.”

The clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. 7 days a week inside the Medical Office Building 1, at 401 Bicentennial Way, Suite 140.

“We are excited to offer our patients the ability to walk-in to our clinic 7 days a week and receive the care they need,” said Trish Hiserote, DO, physician in chief at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa. “Access to urgent care was a priority voiced by our patient advisors who are an invaluable resource for ensuring the highest quality, patient-centered care in Sonoma County. As we head into flu season, and a time when other respiratory illnesses tend to increase, we know the demand for medical care may increase and this is one of the many ways we meet our community’s needs.”
