Sonoma County Man Arrested for Beating of Teen, Backpack Theft
The man allegedly dislocated a 16-year-old boy's shoulder and stole his backpack, says the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office.

A Geyserville man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly beating a 16-year-old boy and stealing his backpack, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office said Thursday, Nov. 8.
The Santa Rosa boy said an Audi pulled up next to him after he got off a school bus on Old Redwood Highway in Larkfield north of Santa Rosa around 3:45 p.m. A passenger in the car confronted him about which gang he was in and the boy said he wasn't in a gang, sheriff's officials said.
The passenger then got out of the Audi, grabbed and punched the boy in the face, slammed him to the ground and took his backpack, according to the sheriff's office.

The boy suffered a dislocated shoulder and abrasions.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a fight and strong-armed robbery. The caller gave a description of a silver Audi and its license plate.

Deputies stopped the car on northbound Redwood Highway near Fountain Grove Parkway and detained the rear passenger identified as Dominic Morrison, 18, of Geyserville, according to the sheriff's office.
Morrison was arrested on suspicion of felony robbery and felony battery causing serious bodily injury. The two other occupants in the car were not arrested.
Morrison is being held under $50,000 bail in Sonoma County Jail and was arraigned in Sonoma County Superior Court Thursday afternoon.
