Sonoma Man Arrested On Gun, Drug Charges And Probation Violation
The suspect posted bail after he was taken into custody on allegedly displaying an imitation firearm, using and possessing drugs.

SONOMA, CA -- A Sonoma man who was arrested Friday on charges of displaying an imitation gun and possession of drugs and paraphernalia has already posted bail, the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department reported. He is identified as Drue Ballenger.
Deputies were dispatched to a report at 3 p.m. of a man walking along Highway 12 and Verano Avenue with a firearm that turned out to be BB gun found later in the trash with a "demon-type" mask and small bag of methamphetamine and accompanying foil to burn it on. Ballenger, who law enforcement concluded to be under the influence of the substance, matched the description made by a reporting party in the Vineyard Shopping Center.
He was detained and released in the same day.
