Sonoma Valley's Turkey Waddle Hike — burn off the holiday meal and enjoy the Jack London State Historic Park.
SONOMA VALLEY, CA — The annual Turkey Waddle Hike is upon Sonoma.
This day-after Thanksgiving hike at the Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen takes participants through evergreen forests to the ancient “Grandmother Tree" redwood standing on the site for close to two millennia based on Christian calendars.
The 2-hour hike is moderately challenging with a distance of about 3.5 miles.

The Turkey Waddle Hike is scheduled 10a.m.-12p.m. at the Jack London State Historic Park, 2400 London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen. Admission: $10 per person (plus $10 parking fee).
Rain cancels the hike.
