The Lynwood City Council and city employees are expanding community beautification efforts in 2022. The City is implementing new programs to enhance neighborhood quality of life while specifically addressing community cleanliness which will be in addition to the city’s successful Spring and Fall Clean-Up events.
“For many of our treasured older residents, it’s often difficult to maintain their properties. The idea is to connect volunteers to seniors in Lynwood that might need some help with basic maintenance in their front yards, back yards and sidewalks,” said Lynwood Mayor Jorge Casanova.
The Adopt a Senior Program is just the latest effort by the city of Lynwood to beautify our neighborhoods to make lives healthier, less stressful and more pleasant. The city’s beautification efforts are really quite extraordinary. They are bringing a sense of community and responsibility to keep our homes and common areas safe and clean.
