Gas Prices Drop for 28 Days Straight in Los Angeles County

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell today for the 28th consecutive day, dropping three-tenths of a cent to $3.905.

The average price is at its lowest amount since Jan. 31 and 3.8 cents less than one week ago, 18.5 cents lower than one month ago and 27.6 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. The Orange County average price decreased seven-tenths of a cent today to $3.869, it lowest amount since Jan. 31.

The Orange County average price has dropped 18 of the past 19 days and is 3.5 cents less than one week ago, 19 cents lower than one month ago and 27.9 cents below what it was one year ago.
