Los Angeles County Gasoline Prices Drop

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County fell today for the 34th time in 35 days, dropping seven-tenths of a cent to $4.049, its lowest amount since Feb. 5.
The average price is 3.9 cents less than one week ago, 21.3 cents lower than one month ago and 23.9 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped 25.1 cents over the past 35 days, including eight-tenths of a cent on Monday.

The Orange County average price fell today for the 38th time in 41 days, dropping seven-tenths of a cent to $4.024, its lowest amount since Feb. 5. It is 3.5 cents less than one week ago, 22.3 cents lower than one month ago and 24.3 cents below what it was one year ago.
The Orange County average price has dropped 29.1 cents over the past 41 days, including a half-cent on Monday. It had risen 33 times in 34 days before the decreases began, increasing 59.7 cents.
