Crime Blotter: Resisting Arrest, Burglary at SPHS
The South Pasadena Police Department reported the following incidents from Feb. 27 to March 5. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
A man with three outstanding arrest warrants was chasing pedestrians in the 1200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue, and resisted police when they tried to apprehend him, authorities said.
According to the weekly police bulletin, officers arrested the 31-year-old Pasadena man just after 8 p.m. on March 4.
One week earlier, between 10:20 p.m. Feb. 27 and 6 a.m. Feb. 28, unidentified suspects stole cash, computer equipment, a cell phone and an iPod from an office at South Pasadena High School. The suspects may have entered through an unlocked window and used keys from the office to access other rooms, the bulletin states.
