LA Fire Justice is a coalition of experienced LA wildfire lawyers, world-class fire origin and causation experts, insurance specialists, and community engagement leaders committed to seeking justice from Southern California Edison for victims of the Eaton Fire. Adam Schiff, D-Pasadena, is accepting nominations of South Pasadena residents for his 'Woman of the Year' award. The award is given out every March during Woman's History Month, according to Schiff's press release. There are no specific criteria for how to select a recipient but Schiff's staff wrote that he looks for woman who "through their work or volunteerism have improved the quality of life in our community." Nominations should be sent to Mary.Hovagimian@mail.house.gov. Here's what you need to send over: <ul> <li>A written description of the nominee's accomplishments</li> <li>The home address, phone number and e-mail of the nominee</li> <li>Your name and contact information</li> </ul> The deadline for nominations is February 15, 2012.
