High Winds Forecast: Unlikely South Pas will be Affected

With the National Weather Service issuing a hazardous weather outlook for San Gabriel Valley as of 3 p.m. Thursday, the forecast still shows that South Pas should stay clear of heavy winds.

A west wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north is expected Thursday night. 

The winds are more likely in traditional Santa Ana areas like the Santa Clarita Valley and San Fernando Valley, Bonnie Bartling, a weather specialist with the National Weather Service, told Patch Wednesday. 

South Pasadena's forecast for Friday and Saturday is mostly sunny with temperatures in the 60s and winds between 5 and 15 mph.

A low of 46 is expected both nights.
