Police Seek Aid in Finding Missing Teen
Erika Kristine Rodriguez, 16 years old and a South Pasadena High School student, was last seen Friday at 3 p.m., according to an alert from South Pasadena Police.
Police have requested the public's help in tracking down a 16-year-old girl they believe to have run away from home after an argument with her family, and was last seen walking into a restaurant to meet a friend.
The last known location of Erika Kristine Rodriguez, according to a release from the South Pasadena Police, was in the 1000 block of El Centro Ave. 3 p.m. Friday. She was wearing a gray tank top, dark blue shorts and black-and-white flip-flops. She also has "Christian" tattooed on her left side as well as a pierced tongue. She also does not have her cell phone with her.
Authorities say she was dropped off at Friday morning, but elected to skip classes with her boyfriend, police said. She asked her boyfriend to come to Santa Barbara with her, but the boyfriend declined. She was last seen walking into a restaurant Friday to meet someone the boyfriend didn't know.
