15 Percent of Town Still Without Power

Edison is again opening distribution centers Monday for customers still without power.

Fifteen percent of households are still without power in South Pas with Edison estimating a 24 to 48 hour recovery time, according to police.

"All roads are passable with intermittent closures for Edison, utility and tree crew work," said Police Chief Joe Payne.

"Some areas remain roped off with caution tape due to precarious tree limbs, however public works is moving on to those areas as necessary," he continued.

All schools are open with normal operations Monday. The City is currently working on a damage estimate.

Edison is again opening distribution centers Monday for customers impacted by the widespread wind-related outages to pick up basic supplies, including flashlights, water and ice (based on availability).
