Brackets were announced Sunday for the boys water polo and girls volleyball CIF-Southern Section playoffs. Boys water polo The Tigers' boys water polo team, which earned the No. 2 spot from the Rio Hondo League, plays at Sea View League champion Capistrano Valley on Wednesday. If South Pasadena pulls off the upset, the Tigers will play the winner of the Palos Verdes-Saddleback/Culver City game on Friday. South Pasadena competes at the Division 3 level. Girls volleyball In Division 2AA action, the Tigers drew a tough first round opponent for Tuesday's game in St. Lucy's, which finished second in the Sierra League.
