Help The Beams Release An Album
South Pasadena residents Thena and Ted Beam are recording an album. Donate to their Kickstarter campaign, and become a part of their story.

South Pasadena resident Thena Beam has spent much of the last decade working to make a full-time living in music.
A songwriting and vocal performance teacher at LA Music Academy in Pasadena, Thena and her husband Ted, have launched a Kickstarter campaign in hopes of finally releasing their first album.

Friends and soon-to-be friends, this is the album we've been trying to make for almost a decade. Delusional managers, paranoid producers, and some of the rudest sound guys in LA: we've seen it all. But over the last few years, we've also crafted some of the best songs we've ever written. And we REALLY want to share them with you! We believe in this project so much that we've already invested our own money and have recorded the first half of the album. We hope you like what you hear and that you'll choose to join us and become a part of finishing this 10-song album.
... In case you're wondering where your pledge goes, here's a breakdown:

Those are the financial details. But this project is truly about more than just the act of recording an album. As we say in our video above, "our dream to make music that touches people lives on." We want to make and share music that inspires and encourages people. I think most of us would agree that the world needs a little more (who are we kidding—A LOT MORE) of that.
