Council Will Discuss Extending Moratorium on Medical Marijuana Dispensaries
Building permits are also on agenda of tonight's meeting.
Tonight, the city council will hold a public hearing on extending the moratorium passed late last year on medical marijuana dispensaries. The last 10-month moratorium expires in October, but the city plans to extend it until after the November election. In November, voters will vote on legalizing marijuana statewide.
