Crews Douse Vegetation Fire By Bayshore Boulevard
Firefighters responded to reports of smoke and flames in a vegetation area behind a gate in the Brisbane area Sunday.
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Fire officials successfully extinguished a vegetation fire at Geneva Avenue and Bayshore Blvd. in Brisbane on Sunday morning, the North County Fire Authority announced.
Firefighters responded to reports of smoke and flames in a vegetation area behind a gate at 9:47 a.m. Three fire companies, one chief officer and one fire investigator arrived on the scene and made "an aggressive attack" on the fire to prevent its spread, reads a press release.
No homes or personal property were damaged, and there were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. Fire officials remained on the scene for another hour and a half to clean up the scene.

The NCFA Fire Prevention Services Division will continue to investigate the origin of the fire.
