ICYMI: Space-tacular Shout Out to San Francisco

Scott Kelly is on the International Space Station for a year, as NASA studies how a human’s body reacts to an extended stay in space.

He regularly tweets pictures of Earth from his vantage point more than 200 miles above the Earth’s surface.

Last weekend, he aimed his camera close to home.

Kelly tweeted a view of San Fransisco and the Bay Area rarely seen.

“#GoodMorning #sanfrancisco! Looking good this #Saturday morning!. #YearInSpace,” the astronaut tweeted.
