• Man Caught Stealing Copper From Caltrain Tracks In SMC: Police (patch.com) — Police arrested a 24-year-old man early Sunday after deputies in a sheriff’s plane spotted someone pulling copper cable from Caltrain tracks in South San Francisco. Working with South San Francisco police, they recovered about 50 feet of cable, and repairs are estimated at roughly $5,000. The suspect was booked on multiple theft and railroad-related charges.
