Pedestrian Killed On El Camino Real
Police say they are still searching for the hit-and-run driver.

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA — A pedestrian died in a hit-and-run collision on El Camino Real in South San Francisco early Wednesday morning, according to police.
The collision was reported at 1:06 a.m. in the 1500 block of El Camino Real, where the victim was hit while trying to cross the southbound lanes, South San Francisco police said.
The driver who struck the pedestrian fled in the vehicle following the collision and remains at large. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene and has not yet been identified.

The investigation into the collision closed El Camino Real for several hours. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Motor Officer John Paulo at (650) 877-8900.
