Kuras, who opened the Tuning Fork in 2013, enjoys making people happy and appreciates the freedom and creativity of running his own business. He supports live music in the community because: "Without live music there is no life. We have celebrated rhythm and voice since the beginning, it's in our DNA."
What Kuras appreciates most about working in Studio City is "its film history and proximity to Laurel Canyon and its musical legacy. Having the Back to the Garden band on January 26th will "further the celebration of Laurel Canyon's musical heritage" with classic tunes, e.g. Woodstock, The Weight, For What It's Worth, and Love the One You're With.
Kuras leaves us with a meaningful message for the New Year: "to hope and pray for peace on earth, and help move the human race forward a step or two." Hear ye, hear ye. I couldn't say it more succinctly or eloquently myself.
