Did the Vegan Restaurant Deal with Ellen Degeneres Fall Through in Studio City?

Eater L.A. and a few other venues report that the vegan restaurant headed by Ellen Degeneres may have been scrapped.

The Bokado restaurant was supposed to be headed by chef Tal Ronnen, financed by Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi with partners Chrissie Hynde and Steve Bing.

According to reports:

Earlier this year, it was leaked that the new gourmet vegan venture – a partnership between Ellen, wife Portia de Rossi, “Pretenders” singer Chrissie Hynde, and Producer Steve Bing - would be shacking up in the tapas joint “Bokado” in Studio City.
