Dog With Hip Problems Needs Home—Surgery Will Be Provided

The Forte Animal Rescue is asking Studio City for help.

They know all over Southern California (perhaps the whole country), how Studio City residents love their dogs.

That's why Helen Chun has reached out to Studio City Patch for help with placing this sweet dog Sepia in a good home.

The trouble is, she needs hip surgery. That will be provided by the Forte Animal Rescue (an independent rescue based in Marina del Rey), but there are obviously some issues, and special care needed.

The rescue sent out this statement:

"We have some wonderful dogs that have been rescued from the pound or by independent rescuers, who are all looking for good homes.

There is one particular dog, Sepia, that I would like to share with your viewers, if possible.  She is a 3 year old who has severe hip dysplasia, and will undergo hip surgery.

We will be covering surgical expenses, but we are looking for a foster to help her during recovery, as well as a permanent home for her.  S

he is a lovely dog and would make a great home companion, but because of her medical issues, she is quickly overlooked at adoptions, which is why I am reaching out to you."
