The victim, a man in his 50s, was shot about 12:30 p.m. in the 10900 block of Bluffside Drive, near the intersection of Campo de Cahuenga and Ventura Boulevard. He was conscious and breathing when taken to a hospital, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
