The Daily News interviews the neighbors.
People in Studio City don't seem too unhappy about the big party that George Clooney is having for President Obama on Thursday.
At the Studio City Neighborhood Council Land Use meeting Wednesday night, Lisa Sarkin said, "There is already no parking on Laurel Canyon north of Sunshine and there are four Secret Service cars patrolling the area pretty steadily. I would recommend you don't try to go anywhere between 5 and 11 p.m. Thursday."
is having an opening party Thursday night, planned long before the announced party, and Sarkin said, "If you know where I live, you can park there and cross the Colfax Bridge and walk over, that would probably be easiest."

Publicist Fiona Hutton lives just a couple of houses away from Clooney, and was quotes as saying:
Trucks filled with party supplies have rumbled up and down the road all morning, she said. Monday night, military helicopters roared over her home.
Hutton said that while she's concerned about traffic logistics, such as picking up her children at school or getting back to her house, she plans to be outside to try to catch a glimpse of Obama.
And she's challenged her son to make a large banner to welcome the president.
"I think there's a lot of excitement in the air," she said. "There's a lot of buzz in Studio City about the visit. It's not very often you can say the president is visiting your street."
