Fairfield Police Nab Suspected Washington State Robber

FAIRFIELD - A man wanted on suspicion of a series of armed robberies in Washington was arrested Friday afternoon in Fairfield, according to police.

Police were notified by the FBI that Darnell Delane Walker, 54, was believed to be in Fairfield.

Detectives from the narcotics and special operations teams worked with the FBI to conduct surveillance at a residence in the 500 block of Silverado Circle, and within an hour Walker was seen leaving the home and driving away, according to police.

Law enforcement officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Walker on outstanding warrants out of Pierce County, Washington.
