Suisun City Man Arrested After Being Found With Drugs, Stolen Gun

Osvaldo Gomez, 23, of Suisun City, was arrested after police allegedly found him with guns and drugs in an apartment complex parking lot.

SUISUN CITY, CA -- A local man has been arrested and faces numerous charges after he was allegedly found at an apartment complex illegally in possession of drugs and weapons.

The case began around 7:30 pm on May 11, when Suisun City Police Department officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in the 500 Block of Whispering Bay Lane. The caller advised that four to five males were drinking alcohol in the parking lot of apartment complex and that one of the men had displayed a firearm to the group.

Upon arrival, officers contacted six males standing near a black Cadillac and observed several opened beer bottles on the ground near the men.

One of the men matched the caller’s description of the person who had displayed the firearm to the group, and based on the caller’s information and the suspect’s actions, the man was patted down for weapons.

The man, identified as Osvaldo Gomez, a 23-year-old resident of Suisun City, was found to have a stolen loaded handgun (seen in the second photo above) in his waistband. A full search of Gomez and his vehicle yielded narcotics as well, police say.

Gomez was booked into the Solano County jail for numerous weapons and narcotics charges.
